Alisha Sabrowsky started taking piano lessons at the age of six. Her musical interests grew substantially throughout grade school and college, where she participated in award winning concert, jazz, and marching bands in brass, keyboard, and percussion instruments. Alisha has also assisted her alma mater Redondo Union High School as a percussion teacher during the Marching Band Season, as a keyboardist for several musicals, and as an accompanist for choir performances. Alisha has been a member of the Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra of Southern California, with whom she has performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall and other venues. Alisha has taught music and group piano classes in an after school program, LEAP, at Felton Elementary School in Lennox, and with Musical Minds in the South Bay. She currently plays the pipe organ and piano at Zion Lutheran Church in Torrance several Sundays a month, and also performs with the Los Angeles Metropolitan Brass and Percussion. Alisha has been giving private piano lessons from her home in Redondo Beach for the last several years.
Alisha spent a year at El Camino College in the applied music program, studying pipe organ with Dr. James Hurd. Alisha has been a student at CSU Dominguez Hills for the last three years, and hopes to graduate soon with a BA in Elementary Education and also a BA in Music Education.
