I am available to tutor, piano, organ and general musicianship including theory, most evenings and Saturday.

I have spent most of my career in the UK, but moved to Australia in 2002. I am an academic at Queensland University of Technology in the Faculty of Science and Technolgy where I lecture in chemistry.

I have a very broad interest in music and have performed professionally as soloist and accompanist - pianist, organist and harpsichordist in the UK, and also conducted chamber choirs and orchestras. For many years I sang with the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus during the period when Sir Simon Rattle was chief conductor.

I therefore bring a wealth of musical knowledge and experience to my teaching, and can offer a practial and passionate approach to tuition that will suit all levels from beginner up to advanced student who wants to prepare for diploma. Adult beginners are also very welcome!
