Began piano study at 6 years; studied at several mid-western music conservatories and with masters along the way; 30 years' experience as a contracted professional accompanist for university students and professors; Originally B. Mus. organ/harpsichord performance degree, returning to solo piano study with gusto, performing Bach, Chopin, Brahms Rachmaninof, Liszt, Faure, and Ravel. Top-notch "amateur" , excellent sight-reader, ready to offer newly acquired zone of effortless inspiration-driven playing, either as accompanist or soloist... in such venues as gatherings, art openings or festivals, weddings/receptions (mostly Romantic and Classical literature)... for enjoyable interludes, or private concerts. Prefer accoustic piano, possibly harpsichord- where a well-maintained instrument can be provided. Also happy to accompany your audition or rehearsal (vocal, instrumental, ballet). Another vision is to play for you at home on your extraordinary piano that you can no longer approach but hold dear. Small travel radius , parameters of Eugene and Portland in Oregon. $60 Hr plus transportation. |
