Evan Pilate is a recent graduate from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance. He is a member of Suzuki Association of the Americas and is a certified Suzuki Piano Instructor. He is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, a prestigious national music honor society, which honors music teaching professionals. Evan is also a member of Music Teachers National Association.

Evan is the owner of Aurora Piano Lessons, a large teaching studio of over thirty students in Aurora, CO. He teaches students of all ages, and he can teach in both the traditional and Suzuki methods.

Evan has also had several experiences performing. He gave two solo piano recitals at the Lamont School of Music as part of the degree requirements. In 2010 he played Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. Evan has played for corporate events, weddings and partys, and is curretly available as an event performer.
