Over 25 yrs of experience in dance accompanying,both classical and improvising for contemporary dance classes.Plays for R.A.D. schools,Vaganova and Chechetti and has worked for Danza Nacional in Madrid,Spain,with Nacho Duato as Artistic Director.Has worked with innumerable celebrities and guest-played for famous companies such as London City Ballet before the company closed,when it came to Athens with its Artistic Director Harold King,a former South African.Georgia herself grew up in S.Africa and received excellent tuition there.She has repeatedly worked at the Greek Opera in Athens and the State School of Dance.In Barcelona she worked at the Institut del Teatro under Barbara Kasprovich and in Madrid for ACADE as well as Carmen Roche and her Compania Joven.In Florence she worked for Brenda Hamlyn Bencini and for Jane Lawton,the Dance Theatre School.In the U.K. she helped out at I.S.T.D. headquarters playing for young teachers exams and sightreading Character Music for exams,for which Margaret Jaffe who was then examining was delighted.Has worked with dancers of the calibre of Patricia Ruanne,Jane Elliott,Deidre o'Donogue,Ray Barra,Daniel Lommel...the list is endless.She is at home with all levels as a dance accompanist,from tiny tots to professionals and from ballet to contemporary release technique.Georgia has a sound technique in playing and has received enormous praise for her sensitivity in accompanying dancers.She has produced a ballet CD dedicated to classical dance and dancers with her own compositions which is absolutely loved by dancers and dance teachers.
