Classically trained pianist with 11 years experience playing. I play almost exclusively jazz now, focusing on jazz improvisation, lead sheets, and Great American Songbook songs.
I'm a very experienced improvisational pianist and I'd say cocktail/hall piano is my specialty. Advance notice is needed for most song requests - I can learn to play most jazz songs fairly quickly but my repertoire for songs is generally not very large.
Schedule is fairly flexible but will need to work around classes.
I live in Central Sarasota so travel is generally not a huge issue for me.
Fees run between $25-50/hr depending on requirements for a gig and travel etc.
Fees are negotiable and variable. Generally I'll charge more depending if I have to learn new music/bring my own keyboard/travel outside of the central Sarasota area.
Willing to charge less if all you need is a cocktail pianist and an instrument is provided. |
