Jenny was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She started studying the piano, and other instruments such as violin, organ, keyboard, as well as singing and composition at the age of six through Yamaha Music School program and Academy of Performing Arts in Taichung, Taiwan. She moved to Danville, California when she was twelve years of age and continued studying the piano and violin. She attended University of California at Santa Cruz and Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. She studied piano with Barry Snyder at Eastman School of Music, and continued her studies in singing, violin. She was a violinist with University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra while playing at the Carnegie Hall. She moved to Seattle in 2010 and continues her career in music. Besides private teaching she has been an accompanist for many choirs, instrumental competitions, singers of opera and broadway show.
