Additional Info:	Kate Thompson ARCM, GmusRNCM, PPRNCM, LTCL, PGdipRNCM Kate has many years experience as a piano teacher, and offers encouraging and enthusiastic tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities. She has worked in private practice, at Edinburgh Academy, Douglas Academy ( Glasgow's specialist music school) and the music school of the Sage Gateshead. She now works as Staff Accompanist at the Birmingham Junior Conservatoire and is on the staff at Bromsgrove School. Her many pupils have enjoyed 100 % success in Associated Board exams. As well as being a respected teacher, she is also a busy professional pianist, working with orchestras throughout the UK, including the CBSO, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, RSNO and Opera North. She also gives frequent chamber music recitals and is busy as an accompanist for auditions, exams and competitions. She has full up to date DBS clearance.
Fees:	£ 34.00 Pounds Per Hour Most beginners start with a weekly 30 minute lesson, which costs £ 17, but I can tailor the length of lesson to the needs of each individual student. eg Some adult students come fortnightly for a 40 min lesson.
