We teach piano professionally by taking time to understand and develop individual artistic personality of our learners.
Our professional team are passionate about giving piano lessons, sharing our skills. The Studio is open to all students from the beginners who are learning basic concepts in music or piano playing to advanced students who are preparing for competitions and auditions.
We are committed to providing our students with high-quality, private musical education to reach their full potential and inspire them to make musical journey exceptional.
In order to achieve this, we work from a well-balanced curriculum, developed through the years of our professional experience.
At each level of our musical education process, we are providing custom tailored curriculums to meet each individual students musical needs.
It is our goal to pass on the joy of music as well as to reach measurable standard that is recognized according to the ABRSM guidelines.
In the Piano Studio, we are able to offer one to one private lessons, preparation for performances, auditions, school and ABRSM exams through the ABRSM piano graded syllabus, music theory and sight reading based on ABRSM system of education.
During each piano lesson, you will be given a new practical homework assignment which will be explained in detail.
For children that are 5 years old 30 minute lessons twice per week are typically recommended. Practicing newly acquired skills is mandatory for future success, and completed homework will also be checked.
Our beginners are expected to have knowledge of the alphabet, ability to count, concentrate for half an hour at least and our lessons are fun and energetic with a high emphasis placed on encouraging each individual's natural musicality and creativity.
A typical classical piano lesson might include:
Learning the basic elements of music, pulse, rhythm, pitch, dynamics and aural skills.
Playing musical games, variety of Classical Music styles and genres.
Finger gymnastic, proper posture, finger dexterity, development of the technical ability to obtain physical freedom.
Learning to read notation, thinking and understanding of music.
Each area is more or less emphasized, based on the specific students interests and needs, and includes combination of different musical pieces, exercises and approaches.
We enjoy seeing our students progress in their musical knowledge and passion for professional result.
Learning music is not just a matter of having a qualified teacher, but also having an environment that is focused on music.
Our studio location is very convenient for South Manchester area, and equipped with a baby grand piano Yamaha G1, two upright pianos U1 and P114G, as well as plenty of supplies for young pianists, ensuring students have the opportunity to experience playing on a variety of instruments. |
